This would be my first time to club at the Opera. I've been looking forward to go since the opening but never got a chance to. Apparently It was quite a big crowd on a wednesday night because it happened to be the launching party of their new Wednesday theme night called "Kinky Boudoir". Doesn't all the people need to go for work the next day? I'm the exception because i get to enjoy the benefit of going to work at any time that i wish for...and that was definitely a joke. I rarely party on weekdays as i will be freaking tired from the lack of sleep. We swear to leave by 1.30 and pretty much glad that we made it! It's not that fun at the Opera after all...been molested at the ass. I loathe all the desperate manner-less sickos loitering in the club. Zouk's 4play is still the best place to party.

Sister Tju had a short layover flight to KL last Fri and here it goes again, another busy weekend. Still and all we love spending time with kakak Tju. Gonna stop calling her kakak tju cause it sounded like an indon maid. She baked us yummy chocolate chips with orange peel cupcakes and brownies all the way from the sandpit. Kakak Tju is currently looking for a house in PJ and it was such a headache!

We went to The Pink Sage at Solaris Dutamas for brunch since sister Tju is craving for egg and been keeping to lure us to the diner before her last stay at KL. It took us quite a long time to find the location because it is in a newly build area with a complex building structure. The foods were so-s0 but the pancake was quite good.

Met up with this good-humored, bubbly and chirpy girl at KLCC yesterday. She has a knack for telling jokes and stories that never fail to make me laugh. A lucky girl i would say, to have a full package bf who is planning to give her a big surprise real soon. I'm not gonna tell what is the plan unless it is successfully done, i will blog more about it. I got a feeling that would be the most romantic and memorable day for her ever!

I'm pretty much ignoring this blog and which proves that I'm not a good blogger. However today i have the urge to write an entry; probably because it is already a new year - ok, i knew that it's the fourth month of 2010 by now - so I figure that I should probably post up something. In fact i just got back from Bangkok, luggage left unpack and still with make up on lazying on the bed. Please tell me why am I like that?

Every of my Bangkok trip was fun and according to plan but not this time around. The "red shirts" protesters having a huge parade which blocked major roads. Thus most of the shopping malls temporarily closed to avoid bad traffic. I've never spend more time in the hotel room than shopping before. I missed Siam Square!! :( Luckily Chatujak and Platinum Mall do open on Sunday and i did all the buying in a day like a mad girl.

Met Kaebin and friends at night. We went to State Tower to chill at Skybar. The environments and views are much much more better than KL's skybar and of course the drinks too are rather high-priced. Guess how much is one glass of Jack Daniels? Its 2900 bath ~ RM290++ and 19000 bath ~ RM1900 for a bottle!!! We ended up with cocktails.

I only managed to take few photos, like about 5 before the camera battery died on me. The worst thing was that i did not bring the charger along. Very smart indeed.

I had a super busy yet splendid days last week! Woke up early and came back late almost every day. Now, i finally have the time to actually clear up my cluttered clothes a little, replying some personal emails, replying sms-es, and yes, unwrapped my birthday gifts. Not to show off, but as a record, so that all of you do not get me the same thing again next year.

Okay, i've been very lazy to keep my blog up to date! I just simply couldn’t do it that often anymore since i've returned the camera. No photos makes the whole stories dull.

I have lots of free time at the showroom after my last update at Ugly Duckling Closet, and i fritter most of the time away on facebook games - Restaurant City & Pet Society *ahem*. Mou liu mou?

Today i have the spirit to blog again because July is a special month for me. I feel more cheery, as happy as a clam because it's the month of my birthday!

I will be away to Bangkok again this coming Wednesday till Saturday, go on 7-days self-quarantine when I'm back and just in time for my birthday celebration.

I will not put up my wish list here - none of my friends read my blog anyway. Initially, I plan to get myself a "be a bag" bag from Anya Hindmarch (already save hard for it) However, i have to put the bag aside as i need to restocked on my skin care products and cosmetics. The bag can wait :( Why must all of them finished off at the same time?

Last but not least, i know everybody loves some bright happy pictures. So here you go..!

I bought your Miss Selfridge dress, the black peplum dress with pink zip. But the rose print one is not really nice, the material is those stretchable lauya type. But I saw another floral tube peplum, much nicer and cheaper so I bought that. As for the Topshop stockings, I can't find the patterns you want so I never buy. Same for the bodycon skirt, the design you want is not there. There's another design though but it's not really that nice so I nvr buy also. Topshop London is so shiok can die, kenot go, will spend a lot of money.

Lalalala..I'm so happy the moment i received this email. Pardon me, it's hard to get something that i want from overseas. Every time my sis asked me whether i have anything to get whenever she's flying to certain countries & the shops would be Marc Jacob, Mulberry, Coach etc, and i still couldn't afford all of these brands yet. Topshop, Miss Selfridge, or H&M still acceptable. This the first time she made it happen for me, so that's why I'm overjoyed. Although she did not managed to get all of the items that i asked for but I'm rather glad she did not. As much as i loved all of them but also i must accept the fact I'm going to be flat broke.

Can't wait to see the floral tube peplum dress too. How i wish that i could shop at Topshop London too. The way she described it must be awesome.

A day off

This is something i did not do for quite some time. I take a day off today and treat myself a spending spree. A total me & myself day where i walk, shop and have lunch all by myself at my own pace. Nope, I'm not a lonesome freak! Sometimes it is much more fun to do this at times.

I have my fringe cut before you might notice. The bf kept on persuading me to give it a go at the saloon below our office, which i don't really convinced. I'm very particular especially on fringe trimming. I have the compulsion to chop off my fringe because my left parting side is going bald due to wearing hairband too frequently.

Since the saloon is also a hair academy, i believe it should be up to my expectation. But..but.. the result is the other way round. It is not straight and it's like been bitten by dog. It is already short enough to trim further, so i pay and head to another saloon nearby - i visited a few times before. Luckily he managed to make the condition a bit better. Arghh...Can't wait for the fringe to grow back!

Lately, i've been listening to Spanish jazz songs from Jessy J. Though i did not know Spanish & also the meaning of the songs, but i feel that the songs..melodies and all are rather addictive! Go check out.

Office internet connection is driving me bonkers. Annoyingly slow & the browser was unable to establish a connection...I don't have the slightest idea why. All works have to be delayed because - no connection = no replying emails, sending & receiving files = no need no work. It is not a good thing though because i get bored when i have nothing to do.

Since there's nothing much we can do at the office, we went off early and headed to KLCC to buy a cake because it is Joyce's birthday! We will be having dinner together at Outbacks Bangsar later tonight. I get her a black forest cake from Sun Moulin.

I am super duper tied-up with works for the past two weeks. No extra time for rest, long odd work hours = more ciggies & late night sleep made me all worn-out! I need a shopping therapy and vacation! I'm going to BKK again this April, can't wait!

When i was young, my ambition is to be involved in events management. Being part of the crews & being able to organize an event of my own used to be my zeal! Here and now, i have the opportunity to experience dealing with a global events company from Australia which they will be organizing a global conference in Malaysia. Although i was only in charged with the production part but the whole process is not as easy as winking. From communication through E-, trying to be comfortable with client's way of handling matters, meeting client's expectations, put a price on the quotation, look out for suppliers & carry out installations. It took about 6 months for negotiation - we starts dealing since last year August and stretch to March this year. That is why I was so excited when it comes nearer to the event simply because it took so long and finally i would be able to see the event in live.

The event concludes on 13th of March, which means 3 more days to go & I'm all free. I already planned for facial, good foods, & shopping after this because i get quite a good share of commissions =) Till then, i will post up pictures & blog more on the event.

But for now I have to go to work again :( Buhbye...

Have a break, tired of facing the laptop for a few hours straight. Paint my nails. Call up ZEN for reservation. A strong crave for Salmon Sashimi! However, full house for the night & only open for reservation at 9.30pm. Fine! Tried to call Jogoya, nobody pick up. So so so potong semangat!

Still thinking and arguing of where to go. Don't care, go for shower, decides of what to wear & doll-up.

Leave the house. Decided to have a try at ZEN. Yes, it took 1 hour to reached Sunway. Stomach started to make sounds already as i still did not eat anything the whole day.
7.30-8.00pm
Headed straight to ZEN, saw a long queue outside. Lemah already. Still don't want to give up, asked the person in charge to give us a table should there be any before our reservation time.
8.00-8.30pm
Too hungry till cannot walk & starting to get mad. The bf felt guilty & afraid of the expression on my face, quickly he offered a pressie for me. I did not ask for a Valentine pressie earlier, only a nice meal. Overjoyed! Too sudden & still couldn't think of what to buy. Passed by Forever 21. Get myself a high-waisted leopard print skirt & 2 headbands.

Have a cup of hot chocolate & chicken fingers sandwich at Starbucks.

Still a long queue at ZEN. Finally, we got a table available 15 minutes earlier than our booking time.

Eat.eat.eat. Ordered too many dishes, no choice but to take away the leftovers.

So fast another CNY has gone & i did not enjoyed as much as last year. The amount of Ang-paos getting lesser & lesser each year. However, I managed to meet up with my friends during the eve & nonetheless gamble with my cousins (which most them are much more younger than me).

My mum regularly cooks the same dishes - stir-fried mix veggies, braised mushrooms, braised duck, for our reunion dinner. I'm not saying that mum is not a fantastic cook but wish to break the trend and try on new dishes. Foods apart, i admit, it's nothing like back home..where i get to catch up with family, having dinner together, preparing cookies, be merry in house & Chor dai di with my sis and bro. =)

I did get much new clothes for myself this CNY - 3 pcs only. I used to shop quite frequently, when I was bored or wanted something new. Believe it or not, not this time around! I didn't find any clothes that I liked & partly i was busy setting up my new office/showroom. My sis bought me a black tutu skirt from Topshop (which i don't have the chance to wear it yet) & some accesories from H&M *double yay!*
